Introduction
Welcome to the Governors section of the Watling Lower School web site.
The Governing Body is in place to ensure a well run school that meets the expectations of pupils, parents, staff and the wider community.
The Governors help shape the vision and direction of the school and ensure the school fulfils its statutory duties.
The Governors understand the strengths and weaknesses of the school and challenge and support the Head teacher and Senior Management Team.We are continually looking for new members of the Governing Body and welcome input from the school community.

The Governing Body no longer produces an annual report, this has been replaced with the School Profile, which was launched in January 2006 to provide a standard format for schools to report annually to parents. Here is the link to the School Profile on the DirectGov website:
